Alight One Stop Early

Another gem from The Little Book of Calm as I head away for a well-earned break (well earned by Mariposa that is).

"Alight one stop early - If you consciously set out to break your own routines, you can also break your worry habits. Take a different road home, get off the bus a stop early, talk to a stranger, and absorb the differences."

(or don't fucking turn up at all)

ps I wish a lovely Easter weekend to you all and, if you are concerned by my lack of religious piousness - don't worry, god hates me but I hate him right back. It's like theological chess.

"Absorb the differences", what can that mean, Goth Master?

I'm concerned, but I don't worry because no one hates you.

You and Mariposa have a lovely long w-e.

Happy Easter to you Mr Goth. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm sure GOD loves you just as much as we do! I think.

Enjoy.

PS God's just jealous. . .

God does not take public transport!! To change its practices, to approach and absorb the differences, excellent!!

Merry Easter

Tx muchely - hope you all get chocolated up - and a message from TM 'Sizi seviyorum millet, dünyayi siktir edin"

Getting chocolated up.... oooh, I like that!

Seviyorum and siktir (which is still used in my region) are the only words that make sense to me. Does TM stand for translation machine? Well then, I couldn't find any as good as yours. What exactly was the message here?

Hating a mass delusion seems pretty odd?

He doesn't hate you but I keep wondering what he's on about with me. I get within 50 meters of a church and burst into tears.

Something BIG going on there.

These days I avoid churches and just have the vicar around for dinner instead. Much more fun.

These instructions are eerily reminiscent of guidance I received about avoiding terrorist attacks.

Joan Osborne sang "What if God was one of us ... just a stranger on a bus trying to find his way home?" proving that God takes public transport!
