Don't Fear The Reaper - Or Should You?

Unsurprisingly for a Goth, I am rather partial to graveyards and cemetaries. Not because I particularly enjoy people that I know dying but more because they are beautiful, tranquil places where the living commemorate the memories of those departed.

I would/will, quite happily get married in a graveyard. My ex-goth used to tell her students that we had been married in a graveyard, at midnight, under a full moon. No wonder the pupils were scared shitless of me then.

BUT, I do get incensed by the wankers who desecrate burial places. If you want a fight, bring it to me, someone who can stand up for themself. Not that any of these tossers could read this or hope to understand it.

Thus, it is with great satisfaction that I announce, some meaningless piece of shit in the 'US of fucking A' got well and truly twatted.

This twat, in his meaningless wisdomless, decided to trash a cemetary after one too many beers. One too many breaths I think. Fortunately, Karma stepped in and dropped the 72-stone headstone onto him breaking both his legs and pinning the mother-fucker to the ground for 3 hours.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Look on the bright side fuckwit, if I'd have been in control you would have had 16-tons landing on your oh so vacant skull.

Death? You missed this muppet but I feel confident the idiot is on the next reaping list - for this one, I will help you out if you need.......

Well, knowing 'someone' (listen, i've skyped him, emailed him and that means i KNOW him, gottit ?) whose son's .... got nicked (we spoke earlier, we did - the goth and i - err, sorry, mariposa, ooops) means that i'm totally in agreement with the argument against the trashing of cementries.

i simply love that scene from the first 'addam's family' where gomez and morticia are having a 'love moment'. it's SO right.

btw, mariposa - where DID you leave the goth's supper ;)?

SpanishGoth dijo...

Zed my love, if I thought you were pissed, I'd have put you on the Metro earlier.

As for Mariposa, I'll let her answer tomorrow....er, later today. But, incidentally, 'supper' was served on the dining table with all candles lit, as per usual..just slightly later than planned

I love cemeteries. They're beautiful places and the stories the headstones tell....they're amazing!

But I don't think I could get married in one. Not that anyone would interfere ya know, but still...not so much.

Cemeteries are great places for reflection and peace and in some cases, get yourself "centered", and it's a pretty low individual who thinks trashing a cemetary is cool I do believe in Karma...and it is a bitch! dude deserved what he got!

I have spent a great deal of time of late in cemetaries. I absolutely love them, and love photographing them. I hope the next time, the headstone falls on his head..I hate people who destroy things like that.

Kimmy -> I didn't actually get married in one....then again, at times I wish I didn't actually get married...DOH

Bananas -> Indeed, a great place for reflection and I too believe in Karma

Stacie -> They are photographic wonders - nature seems to thrive therein, whether it's plants or animals

In Poland everyone goes to the cemetery on All Saints Eve and lights little candles, it's really pretty and busier than Piccadilly Circus. This is why Poles grow up with no fear of death, as you will know if you have ever travelled with a Warsaw taxi driver.

Oh absolutely squash these unthinking morons who see fit to vandalize a place of rest. Shame it didn't turn him into instant fertilizer for the trees, might have done some good for the place then...although it might have poisoned it with something that low and despicable.

As a kid I used to spend loads of time in the cemetery of our local chapel,an absolutely beautiful place,my Grandmother is buried there and it used to be so peaceful. Unfortunately it's been desecrated not by vandals but by commercialism. A big hollywood film was set there a few years back and it now has :coachloads of tourists traipsing through, souvenir tacky giftshop, and a new car park to accommodate the hordes of daily visitors! *pah*

Daphne -> Funnily enough I was only looking at flights to Poland yesterday. Never been there but will be sure to check taxi-driver out first

Mr X -> Absolutely - that's why I posted it, nice to see the tombstones fighting back

Phoenix -> Bastards - not one of those Wanky Potter films per chance?

phoenix dijo...

No it was the Da Vinci code.

Tippler dijo...

We're not talking Roslyn, here, are we Phoenix?

SpanishGoth dijo...

Phoenix -> Yeah, I remember now. Bane of my life too - Dan twatty Brown. I had perfectly good arguments against the church and then he comes and buggers it up...

Tippler -> I believe it was - funny how similar to Roswell it sounds eh?..

Zoe,

As Goth said.
The reason I kept my cool is : first because I wasn't starving; second because as I don't get any work at all these days I don't have much to deal with. Change these two parameters and the all fury will break lose !
But I love my man so I try to be patient and understanding - well most of the time.

Tippler- yes I'm talking Roslin,i'ts a lovely little village with a huge amount of history but unfortunately thanks to the film it won't stay that way forever. It has a main street and a tiny population and the chapel, but that's it and it cannot possibly sustain the bombardment without losing it's essence. Teeny apparently visited last week and they now charge £7 to go into the chapel, which is shocking as it is a national treasure and one of the oldest chapels in Europe. I'll get off my soapbox now but it just pains me.

SpanishGoth dijo...

Phoenix -> mmmmm, indeed, I too would get off my soapbox if it pained me - it's known as a splinter group

*falls off chair laughing, realises what a shit joke that is and sobers up....then wanders off to find more wine*

phoenix dijo...

oh and Goth half a mile down the road there is an even smaller place called Rosewell. So even more similiar.

hmmm nice evening perchance?

SpanishGoth dijo...
